About Me
After years of bodyboarding on the weekends in North Devon, work and family commitments where making it difficult to pursue an activity that relied on good wave conditions.

Several years ago my friends turned up with a paddleboard on a camping trip and the idea of doing a water based activity that didn't require me to travel far and wasn't reliant on perfect conditions appealed greatly. So I bought my first paddleboard!
Fast forward a couple of years and I upgraded to a sleeker faster touring board, this is where my true love of paddleboarding began, now with some decent kit it wasn't just a pastime anymore but a doorway to adventure. Living in Mid Devon I am spoilt for choice with access to some of the best waterways the UK has to offer with tranquil canals, dramatic coastlines and fun rivers.

Over the last few years I have entered several events clocking up
3 x EXE HAMMER'S
2 X HEAD OF THE DARTS'S
1 x SUP BIKE RUN
3 x DRAKES ISLAND PADDLE'S

I have recently completed my second TRENT 100 SUP TEAM CHALLANGE which is currently the UK'S biggest SUP challenge covering 100km over 2 days on the River Trent beating our previous years time by over two hours!

In 2022 I fulfilled a bucket list adventure by joining SUP NORWAY for one of their expeditions, paddling and wild camping in the fjords.

Touring on my SUP has now become a passion as I have now organised multiday trips with friends and actively take part of a small team managing the biggest SUP social group in my local area where I have met some truly great friends.

Now as a qualified British Canoeing Paddlesport Leader and SUP Coastal Leader my aim at SUP Devon is to to pass on my love of paddleboarding in a safe and friendly environment.
